You may already have had an email about this from the LLL Team. The class on Monday the 3rd of November will start at the later time of 7.30 and finish at 9.30. This is because it is parents night at the school and all rooms will be in use until 7.00.
As this is a practical session with no major presentation I should be able to finish slightly earlier. Remember to bring you cameras with fully charged batteries.

About the Course
This is how Paul Strand (1890-1976) defined the art of photography.
"…how you build a picture, what a picture consists of, how shapes are related to each other, how spaces are filled, how the whole thing must have unity."
For me this is about the best definition of composition I've come across and we'll be looking at the 'things' that make up composition as we go through the course. We'll also cover camera controls and settings, exposure and focus and much more. There is also sessions on capturing, managing and manipulating images.
