The Digital Photography beginners course at Boroughmuir High School will start tonight.
I'd like to welcome all the students to the course.
The first two handouts are now available for download as is a resource about Camera Lenses.

About the Course
This is how Paul Strand (1890-1976) defined the art of photography.
"…how you build a picture, what a picture consists of, how shapes are related to each other, how spaces are filled, how the whole thing must have unity."
For me this is about the best definition of composition I've come across and we'll be looking at the 'things' that make up composition as we go through the course. We'll also cover camera controls and settings, exposure and focus and much more. There is also sessions on capturing, managing and manipulating images.
