Hello.
I'm busy preparing for the start of my new courses in September. The 10 week course currently has 6 spaces which I need to fill to enable the course to go ahead.
If you have already completed one of my courses and know of anyone who is interested in photography please encourage them to register, either for the 10 week course at Boroughmuir High School or the One Day course at Broughton High School. These courses are described on the website.

About the Course
This is how Paul Strand (1890-1976) defined the art of photography.
"…how you build a picture, what a picture consists of, how shapes are related to each other, how spaces are filled, how the whole thing must have unity."
For me this is about the best definition of composition I've come across and we'll be looking at the 'things' that make up composition as we go through the course. We'll also cover camera controls and settings, exposure and focus and much more. There is also sessions on capturing, managing and manipulating images.
